Chain Activity at All Time Highs
As we move further into 2026, activity on AVAX continues to climb. Daily transaction numbers are up around 10x from this time last year and showing no signs of slowing down!
It’s great that after we’ve spent so much time on this chain contributing to its vibrant community, other people are beginning to take notice and flock here in droves. This increased activity has not led to a ton of positive price action, but these things tend to lag behind. Not financial advice, but it seems like this is one of those times where we are ACTUALLY early.
One cheerful community member, Zedi, has been chronicling the increase in transaction counts daily. MyPrizeUS has led the way with a flurry of activity, onboarding hundreds of thousands of new users to the chain.
Some great work by the BD team to get this deal done! Looking forward to the next few months as we keep this momentum rolling and those MyPrize users get more active within the larger AVAX ecosystem.
Despite this huge increase in activity, transaction costs remain staggeringly low! AVAX is about 49x more efficient than Solana for transferring tokens, even with this high usage! This is truly the Golden Age for our beloved red coin.
Build Games is a Huge Success

There are some really strong candidates in that field, and I think it’s safe to say that the competition will be a massive value-add to our ecosystem.
But the job’s not finished! It’s now our job to play around with these projects and welcome this influx of builders with open arms. I’ll just list out a few projects that I’m personally excited to try:
Ammo Markets
Ammo markets is a marketplace for trading tokenized ammunitions. I’ve always wondered why nobody had bothered to put bullets on the blockchain yet, so I was really excited to see this one make it through to the finals!
AVAX is for tokenization, so this seems like a really great fit. I’ve got some 9MM rounds that I’m holding tokenized shares of right now, and if (when) an insurrection starts developing, I look forward to redeeming them for physical bullets. Hopefully someone will tokenize a gun soon so that I can get one of those as well.
Forg3t
Forg3t Protocol is building for a future where people want verifiable, on chain evidence that their data has been removed from a specific AI model. Regulations like GDPR require companies to prove that they have removed all personal data, and Forg3t is building the framework for showing that proof.
At this point, Claude knows everything about me. I don’t like that! I’m excited for a future where I can tell it to remove all my data, and then verify that process on an AVAX L1 like the good lord intended.
Looks like they were originally planning on building their own chain, but I guess they’ve come around to an AVAX L1 now. Why not? They’re so cheap! They’ve been building and brainstorming with Grok since July 2025, so they must have something really great cooking. Editor’s note: They took second place! Well deserved! Can’t wait to play around with this one.
Dhahaby
Dhahaby is poised to be the number 1 place to get loans against your gold and other jewelry. I hold a lot of my wealth in gold bars, so I’m really excited to have those as more liquid assets and be able to borrow against them on AVAX!
They posted that they were launching soon in December of 2024, so that means they’ve had over a year to really hone their product and I look forward to becoming a daily user.
It looks like as of April 2025, they also moonlighted as an AI Fraud Detection Company, so you can be sure that your valuables are safe with them.
