Well, hello and welcome. This is not Smitty writing this today. This is not AI either, this is an underling, a minion, a pre-reader, an (unpaid) discord mod, yes folks, this is Smudge.

Abbax x Pokemon
Never did I ever see myself reporting on anything Pokemon, but CG, Trading Aloha, and Polypup launched ‘YourGrails’ this week.
This is an app to where you can purchase provably random, certified Pokemon cards for $50 each.
Hands up, I am not a trading card guy and certainly not a Poke-person, I don’t wanna catch em all. So the prospect of handing over 50 bucks for a card seems pretty wild to me. However, there is clearly an appetite for this as they have already sold over 1000 ‘packs’ (single cards) as people gamble that they will reveal a card worth up to $24,500.
You can instantly redeem your drawn card for 90% of its value, which I think is a pretty good deal as you don’t have to handle the card or actually find someone willing to pay and make the sale.
There’s a battle mode which is also live, I’m not 100% certain of the mechanism, but it looks like you battle ‘Top Trumps’ style against an opponent and win or lose a bonus card. I’ll admit, I’ve played Top Trumps in my time and it is quite fun. Though I’ve never played one round for $500!

Soon you will be able to have your physical card shipped to you, use the marketplace and even take out loans against your cards!? I mean, people will lend against $ARENA, so stranger things do happen.
One Hundred Dollars for $HOTEMIN
The Hot Emin Summer is still warming up. Smitty declares no actual involvement in this (I am not so sure about that) but Nobs and Excel continue to keep Hot Emins Lambo revving and it looks like a leak on a pre-sale.
