Another week in the books!
Things are a bit slow these days so there’s not a ton to talk about this week. This is kinda true across the board though—pretty much every community is seeing a bit of a lull as we go into the holidays.
The only big thing we’ve seen recently is Papertrade, but alas the team decided to run that one into the ground. Almost makes me want to start writing a Cryptolore article about it!

Won’t spend too long on this, but just wanted to button up the Jhug story from last week.
Just as a refresher, he was coming after people for using his precious art on the heinous, disgusting Makooor platform.
Now he has his own platform!! Are we allowed to use Cuddlefish on that? Not sure!

Team1 Devrel Vertical
Chimba announced this week that Team1 will be starting a devrel vertical!
Yes I know, “paid shill” “we don’t care about this” blah blah blah.
I know any time you hear “devrel” you think of the people that hated ponzis in Build Games and wonder why it’s relevant to us.
But this is different! This is Team1, the “community” branch of Avalanche, so I think we can expect them to be doing things that actually benefit us.
For example, AVAX recently launched a place for builders to go and get competitive quotes on audits. This is a real service that normal people like you and I can make use of in the future next time we release something:
What if we can get a bigger discount through Team1 DevRel?
Chimba mentioning “AI credits” in his post is very exciting too. Honestly anything that helps people build cool stuff is fine by me.
This could all be a major selling point for bringing devs onto our chain. Not just institutional devs, but ponzi devs as well.
As onchain has a bit of a slowdown now, Team1’s new devrel vertical could be positioned to bring lots of new experimentation to AVAX. Another common Team1 W.

Lore Score
Yes it’s a slow week so I will talk about my own thing! Deal with it!
The main reason why we moved Avalore to a real website and the substack to news.avalore.xyz is so we can start building out tools on the main site.
The Lore Score stuff was something I actually did for Build Games, and then shelved when I got eliminated because I had too much other stuff going on to focus on it.
The main idea was to allow people to reminisce about previous holdings and show off their history:

I tried to make it easy for people to download as a CSV so that future projects can use it for WL and airdrops. More experiments!
